As far as I know it will be an hourly timetable from Bury to rawtenstall and on the front of each will be a steam engine. There will be a mixed train of boxed vans and carriages on a Bury Heywood Shuttle with Sapper.

In castlecroft yard the wd simplex should be on display with a small freight train, note on display only.

The engines for the Bury Rawtenstall services will be the g2 and the standard tank, this is from what I have gathered on the grapevne so to speak and is unnofficial, I am sure it will be confirmed officially but hope its of use to anyone on here who fancies the g2 thrash as the trains are always heavily loaded at this event.

Always an event worth attending. Is it including the Bank Holidays?

The event has made the Daily Mail for the number of SS uniforms and Hitler & Goering impersonators at the event, despite the railway banning them.
