    60th Birthday Bash for 37029 (D6729), with Class 14 D9551 from the Severn Valley Railway and 20227 "Sir John Betjeman" from the Class 20 Locomotive Society. Home fleet locos will be Class 47 635 "Jimmy Milne", Class 03 D2170, and the Class 117 DMU. 31438 will be on standby as a spare only.

    A real ale train and fish and chip diner will run on the Saturday evening as part of the event.

    D9551 arrived this evening.

    Sorry to be pedantic but 20227 is called Sherlock Holmes (It even displays a shed plate of 221B which I always thought was a nice touch ;)). Sir John Betjeman is 20142 which is currently running on NYMR.
