As many of you know, 4566 goes out of ticket on January 2nd, while newly overhauled Pannier 7714 has only done a few miles in this ticket and so there is currently a good bit of interest in these two.
The passenger loadings today have forced the SVR into running extra trains over the Christmas period with addition departures from Kidder at 11 a.m and 3 p.m. and from Bridgnorth at 1 p.m and 5 p.m with arrival at the other end approximately an hour later. These will feature 7714 on the 28th and 29th, 4566 on the 30th and 31st and a manor on the 1st and 2nd while the Pannier and prarie double head their planned train.
Given that the railway has taken the gamble of laying on two extra trains per day, please come along and say hello to the Pannier or goodbye to the 45 and make this gamble pay off in style
