Fantastic piccies! I remember cabbing the one in the CR livery about a lifetime ago, and I enjoyed a Bluebell day out behind one of them quite recently.
Despite living on the South Coast, I visit the North West quite often, but I've not caught a Fairburn on the L&HR since the 1980s as the line keeps its loco roster a closely guarded secret. I'll be in the area again in early August, for a christening, but I expect it'll be an industrial tank at work!
