Last weekend the Ffestiniog Railway ran its first Vintage Weekend for 5 years, as was expected this was the finest of events.

5 engines, 1 train, an ECS movement to Boston Lodge. The 3 engines closest to the train were all built in the last 31 years, the one at the front is the oldest loco still operating on the railway it was built for

Moel-Y-Gest Quarries used to run their De Winton shunter in to Harbour Station, new-build Leary played this role

Moelwyn (probably the oldest I/C loco in regular use in the world) and the coal train at Porthmadog

    Much activity at Porthmadog

Sunday morning and the top end portion of the 40 waggon slate train rounds on to Cei Mawr with Merddin Emrys at the front, this time next year hopefully we'll have 50 waggons again

The Boat runs through Tan-Y-Bwlch on its non-stop, buffer stop to buffer-stop run
