    Does any one know any thing about the Loco im using for my avatar. Who built it, owns it, where it lives etc
    It looks like a 5" Guage BR 'Brittannia' thats been converted to a 2-8-2 using the appropriate parts from a 9F, to recreate the designed but not built BR Standard. this is a great advert for what a magnificent machine this might have been and has caused much interest.
    of particular interest to me is the wheel size and what this scales up as...
