    Maybe there should be a celebration the other side of the water too as development of Rosslare and some of the associated rail lines was a GWR project too. The rail link to Rosslare is under threat at present, the trains don't really meet the boats and the patronage is low, with the line to Waterford closed in recent years, (the GWR link) and the line to North poorly patronised. As a legacy of the GWR, the port is still railway owned today
