    FM Rail has a requirement for the following operations staff


    Train Drivers
    FM Rail is looking for experienced Train Drivers interested in joining its Merlin Rail operating arm on either a full or part time basis.

    Potential candidates will ideally have at least 10 years operating experience and sign-for (or possess first hand knowledge of) a wide variety of Diesel and Electric traction.

    Extensive route knowledge or the ability to refresh former routes would be advantageous.

    As the positions are Home Based with travel to and from agreed “home station” candidates will require their own transport.

    FM Rail train crew are also occasionally required to lodge away from home.

    Candidates will have a proven commitment to Customer Service and the ability to demonstrate this in an operating environment.



    Guards
    FM Rail is looking for experienced Guards interested in joining its Merlin Rail operating arm on either a full or part time basis.

    Potential candidates will ideally have at least 5 years operating experience and possess first hand knowledge of Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 coaching stock and where appropriate diesel and electric traction.

    Extensive route knowledge or the ability to refresh former routes would be advantageous.

    As the positions are Home Based with travel to and from agreed “home station” candidates will require their own transport.

    FM Rail traincrew are also occasionally required to lodge away from home.

    Candidates will have a proven commitment to Customer Service and the ability to demonstrate this in a frontline customer facing environment.
