    There is absolutely nothing heroic about any footballer from any team that is for sure!!
    Brains is also the one thing many of them either don't have or know how to use.

    Jealousy will get you nowhere. David Beckham is thought by many as being a bit dim yet when experts evaluated his ability to place a long pass or free kick just where he wanted it, they found he had an incredible special awareness that many other people lack. Brain power is not just getting straight As on your exams.

    Footballers are supposed to come from poor uneducated backgrounds but how many of the foreign players in our leagues speak several languages? I for one don't. If you are right about them being lacking in brains they at least have enough sense to take advice and have an agent looking after them.

    Gary Lineker learnt Spanish while he played in La Liga and I believe he had a stab at Japanese when he played out there.
