What type of tender is that behind 44596? It is a lot higher sided than the usual Fowler tender. I'm sure you Midland type experts can explain.

Information is taken from LMS Locomotive Profiles Vol 10 4F Goods Engines.
Ten Stanier 'new standard' 3500gall tenders were built in 1934. All were similar to the Fowler tenders except for the high sides. They were paired with Jubilees 5607-5616 initially. At some stage 7 of these tenders were transfered to 4Fs 4578, 4587, 4594, 4596, 4599, 4602 and 4604. All retained the tenders until withdrawal except for 44578. Its tender went to 44401 in 1961.

Thanks for that std tank. They were a bit of a rarity then.
