    Saturday 27th September 2014 saw my first (and definitely not my last) visit to the Foxfield Railway for the opening day of their Autumn Steam Gala. Despite blue skies when we set off, the sun had disappeared for the day by the time that we arrived at Caverswall Road, but that did not spoil the enjoyment of the day in any way. Thanks to all who made it happen.
