    PEDESTRIANS are being forced to use a dimly lit underpass to cross Swindon's railway line thanks to train operator First Great Western.

    The Swindon-based company, which owns the town's railway station, has implemented a toll-like policy at the footbridge that links North Star to the centre of town.
