We paid our first visit to Gainsborough Model Railway on the 27th, with over 140 Loco's, over half a mile of track filling an old school. The railway is on 'O' gauge based on the east caost mainline from Kings cross to Leeds central in the late 1940's.

    photo Collect.

Always wanted to visit this and was going to do so with my cousin, sadly he passed away suddenly, only recently. So that will not be possible now, although I will still pay a visit. My cousin had a big layout in the loft based on the ECML on which he could run full length trains. Sadly that,s all got to be broken up now.
