    Hi all,

Here is a video from GB3 with 61994 'The Great Marquess' making a spirited attack of the infamous Ravens Rock Incline. Listen to the loco as it pounds up the bank, right from the bottom. The final few minutes and about 4 hours more from GB3 will soon be available from me on DVD,message me or email alberta45562@hotmail.co.uk for details.

What was the load? Speed was down to about 15 mph after the slipping, then about 18 mph past Achterneed LC and accelerating a bit after that.

She had 7 on. The short 1:350 through Achterneed certainly helped her.

That would be about 250-260 tons then. A good load for the Kyle line. Anyone care to work out the edhp? I've got the formulae somewhere but it would take a while to find them and do the maths.
