GCR Easter vintage festival

    Hi All.

    Just wanted to say we've been to the GCR Vintage Festival today, and what a wonderful day it was. 70013 Oliver Cromwell, 9F 92214, 777 Sir Lamiel and the DMU were fantastic with a regular service. Toddlers funfair at Rothley, but the main event for us was the event at Quorn. The steam gallopers and big wheel were fantastic, lots of traction engines and rollers, a couple of fairground organs, a beer tent plus loads of other stuff going on.
    If you're free Sunday or Monday i'd get down there, really a good (and inexpensive compared to a gala) day out.
