Weather forecast is for cold, possibly light snow, but mainly dry with some sunshine. I know there is no certainty in this, but it's good enough to drive over from Lancashire and spent a couple of days riding/lineside. Hope to bump into some of you out and about! :)

Nicely understated Steve! It was bloody freezing and the wind chill made it worse. Everyone I spoke with on Saturday agreed we must all be bloody crackers to turn out on such a cold day. The signalling problems at Loughborough decimated the timetable on Saturday but the operating staff there did an amazing job hand cranking points and clipping them for each movement. These dedicated volunteers kept the job running in really bad conditions and are worthy of the highest praise and thanks.

I stayed until just after lunch on Sunday, when the light took a turn for the worse. Today was better without that icy wind!

A real mixed bag of weather on Sunday, but still very enjoyable given the cold conditions.
