German Plandampf in September 2025 / Steam hauled goods trains

    Hello folks,

    from 23 - 25 September 2025, the Bavarian Railway Museum in Nördlingen is once again organising its annual "Rübendampf". (Plandampf with a focus on sugar beet trains).

    Scheduled goods trains weighing up to 2000 tonnes can be expected again. The steam locomotives 50 4073, 52 8168, 50 2273 and perhaps 41 018 or 58 311 are planned.

    The price is

    - for one day 200€
    - for two days 380€
    - for three days 540€

    The deadline for achieving cost coverage is 31 August 2025.
