Great Britain IV form Wick to Bristol ( not banned yet!) :-)

    Great Britain IV from Forth to Bristol via Wick ( not banned yet!) :)

    This year we joined in with around 30 cars who followed most of the GBIV around the UK. Along the road we were joined by hundreds of other enthusiasts ranging from the Pro video producers through to many excited locals all waiting for the spectacle of the 'steam train' ( "Is that Flying Scotsman?" / "What's special about that (double header) train?!!) coming to a station near them.
    The sun shone all the way and a great time was had by all.
    We do ride trains but this event was all from the line side.
    I am not the best but hopfully you will enjoy the 2 youtubes.
    It is a bit of an epic so get a beer out.

    Great coverage, but in part one at 9.37 do I see a familiar face on the footplate? And in part 2 at 12.00 on Winsford station I hope you were not using a tripod as, according the the lady ticket operative there, they are banned on stations run by London Midland. :rolleyes1:

    No Ralph - we only had one leg to stand on - and she was too interested in the rather special little black convertible in the car park to notice
