Another trip down to the Midlands, although the drive down on Wednesday night was awful, the M18 was like a river... Literally.

A trip over to the Midland Railway Centre on Thursday was in order and to our disappointment no steam was running :( Although 101 692 was in service with 50164 attached to the front, making a rather unusual consist. Shots are also included of 46203 and 80098 in the West Shed.

A trip over to the Great Central Railway was also in order on Saturday during their Wartime Weekend with 30777, 48305, 63601, 33116 and 7059 in service.

I've uploaded a couple of shots from each event and the rest can be viewed on the upcoming Part 3 May & June 2009 DVD due for release in about 2 weeks.

It would seem the server of the website has crashed again :| Hopefully it'll all be back online in a short while.

Neither link seems to work "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
Edit, you just pipped me to the post!
There seems to be a hell of a lot of server crashes lately, look at this forum & UKSteam. Modern technology?

Your site might be, but I see Nat-Pres is running like a snail again. Took ages to load this page.
What is it with railway related sites & the internet?
