GER No 569 was a Y14 class 0-6-0 tender loco, classified J15 by the LNER and BR, later renumbered as 65467, built April 1912 at Stratford Works, withdrawn in Feb 1959 and scrapped at the same place. Presumably the strike mentioned was not the national strike of May 1926?

There was a national rail strike, over wages, in Sept/Oct 1919. Some details at this link.
