I have added a collection of photos featuring the Ffestiniog Railway

Included are a few oldies including this photo of a Double Fairlie at Portmadoc in 1938, The caption with the photo said the loco was Taliesin, but that loco was scrapped in 1935 so anyone any idea which loco it is please?

It is 'Taliesin', which was formerly named 'Livingstone Thompson'.

That loco, identified as Blanche in the caption, is in fact Linda, identifiable by the lack of tender cab.

This loco is officially named Harold, although has a far less aromatic nickname in almost universal usage.
