    The Friends of the Kirklees Light Railways 17th Annual Gala Weekend at the Whistlestop Valley on the weekend of Saturday 9th/Sunday 10th September 2023

    The theme was locomotives designed by Henry Greenly with three visiting engines, joining the home fleet of Badger, Hawk, Owl, Fox and Sian (and Toby).

    Visiting Locomotives:
    Centurion "River Esk" (Davey Paxman & Co. built 1923) from the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway
    "Synolda" (Bassett-Lowke built 1912) from the Ravenglass Railway Museum
    "Green Goddess" (Davey Paxman & Co. built 1925) from the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
