    Hello,
Here are some photographs of the GWR 813 fund Toad Brake Van 17464.
Arrived at the Avon Valley Railway in 2013 as a shell, 2015/16 will see it enter traffic.
It is amazing what a small band of volunteers can do.
This restoration was done mostly out side.

Very nice Nick. Was this the one that was a burnt out shell at Evesham?

Couple of points... I suspect it should carry 'XP' branding and have a white star near the tube in the verandah to show the position of the vac pull cord. The one at Didcot has this info, but it's buried under multiple layers of paint.

    Peter,
The burnt out van at Evesham is owned by a member of the Dinmore Manor Group.

I'm extremely impressed at how far this has come in a short space of time. Every time I go to Bitton it's taken another leap forwards.

Where did this one come from? I remember a GWR Toad at Buxton in a similar state around 25 years ago.

    hello,
will check where the Toad came from.
I looks good...a lot of thanks to the AVR wagon gang.

hopefully will be in service by the end of the year.
