    Hi All

    I have a added some new photos of GWR Kings, mainly of preserved 6000 but a few taken in BR days, which i ned some locations please, also if anyone can id this King

    Not sure of the loco, but I would say the first photo was taken arriving at Leamington Spa (down).
    The second photo (6015) I would guess Wolverhampton Low Level.

    Unfortunately, one adverse comment. The photos.gb site is ever so sloooow, pictures take for ever and an age to appear. On the point of giving up trying to view them, which is more the pity.

    I would suggest the first loco is also 6015 - the nameplate clearly has III on the end, and the number on the smokebox appears more likely to have a "1" as its penultimate digit. The only III in the 601X's is 6015. Too many letters in the name to be King Henry III (6025), unlikely to be King Edward III (6022) as there is clearly a difference in the last two digits, which leaves 6004 and 6007 as possibles but they seem improbable given the shapes of the smokebox numbers.

    I would also suggest that many of the station photos of 6000 are also in Hereford - the houses in the background are quite distinctive with the roofline windows.

    I tend to agree it's also 6015 in the first photo.
