Does anyone have a drawing for GW/BR(W) reporting number frames that I would be able to obtain a copy of? If so I would be grateful to hear from you, either by PM or to nicklloyd107[AT]yahoo.co.uk.

Obviously reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

    Many thanks

    Nick

    Nick.

Will e-mail you the "part" of the drawing I have.
Might be enough to go on.

    Cheers
    Huw

Never mind the drawings, lets have the name of the guy who designed them to fit over the smokebox no plate!

Does beg the question why BR followed LMS practice when GWR, LNER & SR was painted bufferbeams.

Well I think we all know that BR policy was to use whatever the best practice was on the constituent companies without a shade of bias - whether it came from L&Y, LNWR, Midland or even the Caledonian Railway.
