Harz Autumn Steam Gala.

I know that it's a long way in the future, but if anyone interested in visiting the Harz in the Autumn they might be interested in the Autumn Steam Gala next October :

I went on one of these trips a few years ago and enjoyed every minute of it.

 

And for those who want to know more about the line - try Alles ber Harzer Schmalspurbahnen GmbH (HSB) - Alles ueber Europas groesztes Dampfeisenbahnnetz. The English translation is useful and the cameras (click on binoculars) are good for monitoring theweather.

 

I have made a book from my recent visit to the Harz using a selection of 45 images; the book is available to view at share-online-photo-book and comments arising will be appreciated.

As I mentioned my earlier trip to the Harz for an Autumn Steam Gala at the beginning of this thread, I thought that it might be appropriate to put another batch of pictures from that occasion on Flickr. There are also some pictures of Nordhausen trams for those that are interested in such things.
