    Rail operator First Great Western (FGW) has advised passengers not to travel unless necessary on its route between south Wales and London due to flooding.

    The track has been heavily flooded in the Wootton Bassett area to the west of Swindon, Wiltshire. FGW said some trains are starting to run out of London Paddington but severe delays can be expected.
