    We like to bring new and exciting events for visitors to our railway and we are very pleased to announce our very first classic bus/rail event at Wirksworth. Buses and railways have over the years played an important part in commemorating our transport history both locally and nationally. They both play an important role in transporting the public to each others infrastructure and are inevitably inter-related. This event will bring together a number of preserved buses and coaches, of all shapes and sizes, including local ones. Some of them will be providing free rides in conjunction with the EVR train timetable between Wirksworth and Idridgehay. Our aim is you to enjoy a step back in time with the very important help of the vehicle owners.

    Just a reminder that this exciting event is this weekend! There was even a little rumour that our resident steam locomotive may be storming the bank to Ravenstor!
