The achievements of volunteers at the Scottish Railway Preservation Society in Bo'ness have been recognised by the Scottish Government.

For the past 46 years the society has maintained and restored 250 historic locomotives, carriages and wagons, used on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. In October the collection was recognised as being of national significance by the government.
