HOLLYCOMBE STEAM LOCO UPDATE

    HEADLEY DOWN, HAMPSHIRE
    Currently in service on the railway here is Polish 0-6-0 loco no:1966 'Tourska'. Hollycombes resident locos Hunslet 'Jerry M' has recently been fitted with a new smokebox, motion work and is currently being painted and will hopefully be reassembled and back in service mid-end July. 'Caledonia' Barclay 0-4-0WT boiler has just gone for repair and is hoping to be back in service by the end of the season.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    I really must come over and lend a hand as I promised I would do a couple of months ago.

    What sort of time is best to turn up in the mornings? Is their going to be anybody around and work to be done on Saturday this weekend, or would Sunday be a better bet?

    'Jerry M' Hollycombes resident locomotive is now back in service after under going maintainance work. 'Jerry M will be hauling passenger trains during the open season. jerrym-quarry-railway-565x0.jpg
