    Reading the Hornby forum page on their web site today about live steam locos. It looks like Hornby are not going to produce this item for the time being but they haven’t discontinued their live steam locos. I’ve always been interested in Live steam locos but I was always put off by the price.

    An informal 'Live Steam' club has been set up - reference to the Hornby site in 73129's post above and also the 'Live Steam' section of http://www.modelrailforums.com will give details. They are organising demonstrations at various exhibitions to make people aware of the Live Steam system. It is hoped that this will help to improve demand and encourage Hornby to restart production.
