    The Isle of Wight Steam Railway kicks off its extensive 40th Anniversary programme on Sunday 23rd Jan with a walk from the site of the former Newport station along the trackbed to Wootton and on to Havenstreet by train. This commemorates the 'Last Train from Newport' and setting up of the heritage line in 1971. Details are available at
