    NELPG's J72 No. 69023 made its first moves in steam today at Darlington in advance of final finishing and movement to Shildon for lining out. Good on NELPG!

    Newcastle and York station pilot BR green (ie. NER livery), coming to Shildon in the next month then resident steam there until August, then probably off to earn money for itself, don't ask me where - which reminds me, my NELPG subs are overdue. Oops!

    Marvellous news. 'Joem' was my favourite engine when I was a kid, and my father actually won a photographic competition with a shot of her.
