    Afternoon All,

I went to Hollycombe last Saturday and amongst the video I shot there is this clip of Quarry Hunslet JERRY M on the 1 in 35 gradient of the Quarry Railway:

    Hope you like it.

    TTFN,

    Ron.

Very nice! They need run round loops but at least that is somewhere where being propelled is allowed these days!

Lots of places have regular propelling of passenger trains. Peak rail, Ribble Steam Railway and Beamish for example. There's no issue with it so long as you come up with a safe method of working.

The train is only propelled a short distance. The main part of the line is a loop, and the train is just propelled down a spur to get back to the station.

Minor point of order - please can the title be changed to give the loco its proper name: Jerry M !
