It's pretty rare to come across any info on the former railway in Jersey. Recently i came across these drawings for a stamp, only one was selected but they do show the locomotives side-on.

On to the Jersey Railway now.

The former Weighbridge Terminal buildings - now part of a shopping centre with attached bus station.......

The former station at Millbrook is now a cafe......

Beyond St Aubin the route all the way to Corbiere is a Public footpath. I didn't walk the section from St Aubin to Don Bridge but did the Don Bridge to Corbiere as it was quicker than using the bus due to a load of road closures in force over there at the time!

The road overbridge at Don Bridge......

I thought the lower concrete section on the furthest part of the bridge was an alteration in recent years for strengthening it, but found out later it had been done by Organisation Todt during WW2!
They had reused the trackbed as well for a 60cm Feldbahn line so overhead clearances weren't as much of a problem as for when it was a 3'6" gauge passenger line.

General shot along the trackbed, looking west.......

    Corbiere Station platform......

    rDSCF8256.jpg

A much added to Corbiere station now used as a residential property at the end of the line.......

    rDSCF8258.jpg

A body of one of the Jersey Railway carriages survives at the Pallot Museum......
