    ...and now 70013 not Braunton. But what's the view of Network Rail (Eastern) as it seems that the running of steam, or not, in this dry weather hinges on regional decision making.

    Ticket arrived today lets hope there is no steam ban on the eastern region of network rail at the weekend

    It's going to be very hot tomorrow. I'd be surprised if Ollie is going to run. UK Steam Info seem to think there's no risk. We'll see. Barry

    Just gave RTC a ring and they have said as at 15.30 it is still steam hauled.

    Romped through hitchin earlier at 9:12 ish pretty much to time. Glourious sight.... Just wised my phone played ball.

    10 on with a DIT 47 for the reversal later on. The 47 was definitely not running.

    The 47 has been assisting in a few places, notably departing poters bar and the water stop at holme.

    Just as well it's not hot and dry today like it was on Tuesday when we trundled down to Swanage.
