    From 25-27 July, the beers return to the trains at EOR. Plans are in place for the festival to grow slightly compared to last year, with additional cask beer at North Weald and additional craft beer at Ongar. There will also be the return of the gin bar!

    Trains and buses will run into the evenings on both Friday and Saturday. Standard EOR fares apply all weekend, with reduced fares on offer for just the evenings, valid on buses after 1640 and trains from 1700.

    Traction TBC - roster calls for 2x diesel and 1x steam. Whilst the loco does feature a class 45, D22 is currently still under overhaul so please don't read too much into that!

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Friend suggested doing this so it is in the calendar - 10 years since we both last visited the railway... for the 2015 ale and cider fest!

    Any ideas on where to stay near the railway? 2048 last train out of Paddington to Cardiff on a Saturday is a bit early!
