Keolis takes charge of Boston commuter rail network

Keolis has taken over operation of commuter rail services around Boston from Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail company.

The French transport group began an eight-year contract to operate and maintain the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s 14 commuter rail lines on July 1.

Keolis won the $2.6 billion contract in January this year.
