    Hi All,

    I've mentioned this before, but seeing the success of the share issue for SVR (I know that wasn't through Kickstarter) but its a similar idea, why don't more heritage lines, especially those with engineering departments in the progress of restorations, raise funds for the loco through Kickstarter now that its in the UK? It getting more and more coverage now, and if it was presented correctly, I'm sure many people would gladly donate £10 / £20 towards a loco restoration or boiler ticket renewal, it might be a modern alternative for raising funds
