Having perused the website , which is now very good you get a great sense of perspective that good things are about to happen up in the Dales

but I note the eden Valley site appears to be down or disppeared . Given that they had to suspend operations I hope that nothing untoward is happening . Does anyone have any updates ?

The Eden Valley Railway is completely seperate from the Stainmore Railway, which runs the operation at Kirkby Stephen East. When I last volunteered on the EVR in early 2003, there was no co-operation between the two groups.
The major obstacle to connecting the two sites is the missing 3 span steel plate viaduct at Musgrave, which was demolished in the mid 1980s.However, it would be technically feasible to relay track from Warcop to Musgrave station, as the viaduct was south of Musgrave station.
The Stainmore have (as far as I know) no plans to rebuild the shed on its original site, as a factory was built on the site a few years ago.

Hi All,We are currently Re-laying about 900 yards of track at kse and then we will start to run some trains =D> The points are nearly finished, just to level and pack then about 300 yards of straight track, and finish putting in facing point locks.Keep looking at my website as i try to put up to date pictures on regularly.http://www.kirkbystepheneastrailway.fotopic.net/

Heres a shot of a train passing Kirkby Stephen Junction built by me in Trainz Classics 3 rail simulator. Hope you like - the pointwork was absolute hell to do, as it was measured from an OS map in Railway Bylines magazine.
