Kirklees Light Railway Steam and Diesel Gala; 13/14 Sept 2014

    As announced on KLR website;

    9th Annual Steam & Diesel Gala
    13th and 14th September 2014
    Tanks For Coming!

    The Friends of the Kirklees Light Railway will be holding their 9th annual gala over the weekend of 13th & 14th September 2014 which will feature a number of tank engines

    This years visiting engines are:

    • Wroxham Broad from Bure Valley Railway
    • Lydia from Perrygrove Railway
    • American Outline 0-4-0 tender loco Soony
    There may also be another surprise visitor - subject to confirmation!

    These locomotives will be operating alongside our home fleet Fox, Badger, Hawk and Owl.

    Also it is hoped there will be a gathering of vintage vehicles; including traction engines, classic cars and a model rail layout.
