V interesting. 4 staff presumably 1 at Oxenhope, Haworth, Oakworth, and Ingrow....
Presumably something to be paid to KWVR for use of the line/ staffing, and that the third party would use their own rolling stock. With a single train and Token working 'suspended' the line could probably be done in 40 mins return....if 4 trips per rushour thats a potentially v early start for some lucky volounteers...

Getting Voluteers to do a split shift to cover every day may be a bit of a problem, but its an interesting idea and the KWVR are one of the few heritage lines where this might work.

You'd need two crossing keepers for a start at Oakworth and Damens, not sure about the other two - probably an RO and someone at Keighley?

Currently the Railway as a wider body is reviewing a report by the JCT (joint transport committee) about commuter rail, there are however Lots of problems to overcome, but also lots of positives within the report. The Railway has 6 months to make its decisions, and when it does so it will no doubt be reported in the press etc. Until then anything said on here is just speculation etc,
