    Home fleet: D0226, 20031, 25059 & 37075 (in new temporary livery)

    Dear All,

    Sadly, for various reasons, at this time it is turned out is not possible to collect the 31 from Strathspey. It is not cost-effective to collect just 1 loco and for other reasons may place a significant burden on a few people in a short space of time. However, all is not forgotten. Having made suitable contact we are working towards a situation where we would be able to extract more than 1 loco in a future year.

    This year 26038 and 20020 will be attending from Bo'ness - as previously advertised.

    It is now agreed that 37264 and D7628 will attend from the NYMR.

    I know some people may be consider the latter two as too local or similar to our existing home based locos, and I am sorry of you should feel that way.

    Locos are, as usual, subject to availability.

    37075 will be appearing in a temporary livery - which as some may have seen elsewhere - will be green with small yellow panels. This is due to a filming assignment by a TV company taking place on the KWVR before the gala which requires the 37 in that livery, and there is insufficient time to repaint again between the filming and the Gala.

    The usual "shunter shuttle" will feature on Friday and Saturday using D0226. The class 08 is not currently fit for hauling trains away from the yard.
