The Lakeside & Haverthwaite is closed this weekend (21 / 22 Nov) following the Cumbrian floods.

I do not know how bad the damage is. Water levels in Windermere reached record levels on Friday and the River Leven, which drains the lake into Morecambe Bay, and which runs alongside the L & H, burst its banks. Boats were reported floating in the car park at Lakeside. Many roads in Cumbria are still closed today (Sun).
