Lakeside & Haverthwaite Galas & Restoration Work

    Does anyone know if the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway offer a day in their calendar when the 20, 27 & 110 DMU all operate?

    I am aware of the "diesel running weekends" but without sounding greedy would like to see them all on one day - gala style!

    I don't think they run diesel galas any more and can't find photographic evidence that all 3 diesels perform during the May Mixed Traffic Weekend. Is this a loco only event?

    Thanks in advance to any diesel volunteers/enthusiasts who know the dynamics of this line and can answer my query - I have yet to make a visit...


    Also - if anyone knows what restoration or overhaul work has been going on down there as well, I'm sure others as well as myself would be interested, as the line rarely seem to feature in magazines etc...
