Perhaps the last chance to have a passenger ride on Ex-ATW 121032. Join us at Llangollen for the June Railcar gala.

The Llangollen DMU Gala is shaping up to be a once in a lifetime event. The latest feature which has been announced is an evening photographic special using former Arriva bubble 121032, which will take place on the Friday evening before the event. The bubble will be taken up the line and the participants will have the opportunity to disembark to see run pasts and to take photographs at locations which are normally not accessable, including the West end of the tunnel.
We're asking for those who wish to come along to make a pre-booking via our website at http://www.llangollenrailcars.com/Galas/2013/PhotoSpecial.htm

The Arriva bubble will be joined by the blue and grey Class 122 single from The Battlefield Line at the event and this will kick off the celebrations on the Saturday at the head of a nine-car train. The timetable is now available at http://www.llangollenrailcars.com/Galas/2013/Gala2013a.htm

We are currently on track to also be able to show our Cravens Class 105 trailer which has been virtually rebodied over the past year. Birmingham Class 104s, Derby Class 108s, Wickham 109s and a Derby 127 complete the line-up.

Turn Up and Go driver experiences will take place on the Saturday evening (book on the day at our sales stall) and there will also be a barbecue open to all on the Saturday evening all Llangollen.

A final note to remind those visiting that trackside photographic permits are not available at the Llangollen Railway (even to our own working members), so please would photographers stay on the right side of the fence! Please note also that PTS certificates issued by other railways are not valid under any circumstances.
