    It's a pair of LSL 37s to drag 60007 from the NRM to the carriage works, for road haulage to Crewe later in the week.

    Well they've sent 2 20s to Crewe HC, so I presume so. Why she couldn't go under her own power I have no clue

    presumably diesel drag in light steam removes the need to find and facilitate water stops

    20s ran double headed, so I assume they ran round at Battersby.

    Also removes the need to find a steam crew I assume, possibly WCR and DBC (do they even operate 60163 any more?) were unable to resource at the date/time required?

    There was someone in both driver and fireman seat last night, possibly a preserved railway crew however?
