Llangollen Railcar Gala this weekend

    Llangollen's annual railcar gala takes place this weekend, June 20/21.
    Visiting will be Class 122 'bubble car' 55006 from the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and this will be supported by four units from the home fleet, from classes 104/108/Wickham and 127. There will also be a steam auto-train sandwich with pannier tank 6430.
    The fun starts with a photo charter at 1730 Friday evening starting from Llangollen Station and featuring the bubble, with stops at various points along the line.
    The cafe at Llangollen will open early all weekend to serve breakfast and there will be a half hourly service to Carrog and hourly to Corwen, featuring all combinations of units.
    Saturday night there will be a BBQ at Berwyn Station.
