    Hi Folks,

Just a reminder that Saturday 5th September should see 37240 make a long-awaited return to service. She missed her driver experience last Saturday due to an engine shutdown float switch problem in the header tank, but was thankfully repaired and running again on Monday.

After working a morning driver experience train (an excellent photo opportunity if there is good weather), 240 will work two public services, departing Llangollen at 13:25 and 15:25.

And don't forget that on Saturday 26th September Class 26 No D5310 will make her operational debut, working four full return trips; the 10.30, 12.00, 14.00 and 16.00 departures from Llangollen. A £10 day return ticket from Llangollen to Carrog provides unlimited travel on non gala days - so that's some serious haulage for a tenner!

Afterwards D5130 may also be used on an evening works train, heading for Glyndyfrdwy with a crane, so make sure you have your camera!

More details and any last minute changes will be posted on our website as they become known - www.llangollendieselgroup.org.uk

    Cheers
