The LMS-Patriot Project is holding a Remembrance exhibition in the Robertson Suite at Llangollen Station. The exhibition, 'From the Unknown Warrior to the Unknown Warrior' runs until Sunday 8th November - Remembrance Sunday, and features photos, paintings, historical information about the tomb of The Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey, as well as video showing the creation of the new 'Patriot' - 'The Unknown Warrior', which is being assembled at the Llangollen Railway Works. All are welcome.

The Llangollen Railway is also running a Remembrance weekend train service on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November - Remembrance Sunday, with Pannier tank 6430 and shortened Mk1 set. The loco will be sporting a large poppy on the smokebox donated by The North Wales Royal British Legion. Trains depart Llangollen at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on Saturday and 1pm & 3pm on Sunday.
